If you know me, you know I am a big fan of the cult series Doctor Who. More so of the rebooted series that started back in 2005, then starring Christopher Eccleston as the ninth (?) doctor. I’ve seen all the episodes…more than once.
The show’s had its ups and downs but it was golden for my taste as David Tennant made an entrance as the 10th incarnation of The Doctor. And now he’s back, as the 14th Doctor. Tennant has done cameos as 10th on more than one occasion and also in more than just Doctor Who. He was also in The Sarah Jane adventures as 10th as well. Sarah Jane is one of the most iconic companions The Doctor has had and so good that she got her own spin-off from the main series.
Anyhoooo…. After Jodie Whittaker did a brilliant job as doctor no. 13 all the buzz was that 14 was supposed to be played by Ncuti Gatwa (Eric from the Netflix series Sex Education) but that didn’t happen now did it? As 13 goes into regeneration to make room for a new face and body, we get an old face and body as David Tennant takes over the role again.
This time as Doctor incarnation number 14. And his first line acknowledges this as he states: I know these teeth. Now I just sit and wait for whatever is about to happen. And I am pretty sure it will be good. 🙂
