It is very obvious that AI (Artificial Intelligence) is on the move. Big time on the move. The web has exploded with AI products and I can’t say that I haven’t used some of them. A couple of months ago it was all about letting AI draw your picture in different eras and styles and of course, I did that (who didn’t?) and I also downloaded Replika (a chatbot) to my phone, to see how close to the real deal (humans) it actually is. I can say that it was not. I’ve dabbled a little with Open AIs ChatGPT and so on… but… and this is a big but. Should I let AI do some of my writing? I haven’t, so far.
I know that many content writers, marketers, Copywriters, and so on, have started to use AI to produce more texts and have AI rewrite already existing work. I must say that I’m a little torn here. I’ve been presented with AI-written texts and a lot of them have been good. Really good, even, but for me, it’s a little like cheating on a test in school. I am not sure I would want to do that. It feels a little like it would mess with my integrity as a writer.
On the other hand, it seems like it’s the future, to let AI produce a lot of the content, we’re presented with these days. And it also lets us produce a vast amount of content with just a few clicks. Maybe I shouldn’t even have an opinion on this until I’ve actually tried it?
